Onno Ebbens graduated in 2015 from Delft University of Technology with a specialization in Water Management. For his master’s thesis, he worked at Deltares, exploring the use of time series analysis for calibrating regional groundwater models, applying this method to the Azure model. During his studies, he also completed an educational minor, earning his qualification to teach mathematics.
After graduating, Onno started working as a geohydrologist at Witteveen+Bos. There, he contributed to the design of the Scheldt Tunnel in Antwerp (Oosterweel connection) and to a “Room for the River” project commissioned by the Consortium Grensmaas.
At Artesia, Onno works on geohydrological projects, frequently using groundwater models (MODFLOW) and time series analysis (Pastas) for his analyses. His experience with programming in Python is a valuable asset in this work. In addition to his work at Artesia, Onno also teaches Python programming courses. The combination of education and technical depth suits him well.
